I'm looking at buying some 4th gen camaro wheels, 16x8's with 245/50's pm them. however I'm pretty sure I'll need to buy spacers/adapters as well, but not sure what size. I'm sure someone here has done this so any help would be great. its for a 78 malibu

Check the offset. If they are 50 mm, then a 2 inch adapter will work.

GM usually uses a zero or near zero offset for the G bodies. I have 9 inch wide on the front and back of my 79. They are 50 mm offset with a 2 inch adapter. Check the offset of the wheels before you buy any adapters.
