Helped my buddy put in a lq9 6.0 in his camaro and we put a vic jr intake on it and a msd box, everything is hooked up right and you have to crank this thing like 30 seconds before it will spark and start.called up msd and verified everything is right even hooked up the lap top on it check timing but for some reason it does this evrytime.could it be a bad box or has anyone else had this issue

yes it will not spark at all until after 30 seconds.it doesn't matter if it's sat a week or or right after you ran it

What will it do if you turn the key to run position for 30 seconds and then try it? same thing??

How about oil pressure build up before starting?? safety feature?

Update it turned out to be the cam sens.took it to the track wends this is a stock lq9 motor with eddy carb intake and 750 holly carb and headers in his 95 camaro it went a best of 11.73 at 113 mph slowest time was 12 flat in the first pass changed the rev limit it was set at 5500 so we turned it up to 7000 and it ran 4 pass's in the 11.70's not bad for a stock motor
