I was prowling in the u-pull today, and I was looking for a new steering wheel for the bu...I looked in astros, s-10's, camaros, the whole thing. I really didn't see anything I liked.

Over in the corner, I saw this...A Chevy Celebrity Eurosport...

I forgot all about this...I owned one of these years ago, forgot about the standard eurosport wheel. The same wheel as the Monte SS. I know it was used in 85, and I think, 86, and apparently the eurosport was available in maroon (my new wheel) blue, and grey. Saddle is iffy, although the dealer brochure says it. They even stole (borrowed) the ERS sound system badge from the Camaro...Gotta love GM!

Another spot this same wheel can be found hiding, is the 85 Chevy Citation X-11. The ones with the goofy sideways radio...

There's a thought, I never looked into a jeep. I know they use almost the same column. Thanks!

They fit Gbody columns perfectly.

I had one on my T-Type when I was having the original restored.

Back when they also used the GM 2.8L v6 too

I swear, Chrysler is like the ######## child of the automotive industry! :roflback:

My uncle had an old cherokee that had that six in it, it was junk and he bought a new crate motor in it so I could swap it out. What a turd!

Before Jeep turned Japanese, they used Saginaw columns, so all the parts are interchangeable.

The 4.0-L 6 in my wife's 2000 Cherokee Classic is quite strong; it is far from a turd. It helps that the Classic came with 3.73 gears and an automatic with OD, while the Sport did not get 3.73.
