stripped crank

Just finished rebuilding my 350 and found that the crank was stripped where the harmonic balancer bolts on to the crank . can this be fixed or is my crank junk? thanks for the help

should be able to have it dilled and retaped.

The usual process is to drill and tap it up to the next larger size (1/2" fine thread).

yes,you can fix it and yes re drill it to the next size,unfortunately you should remove the crank and have a machine shop drill it(in a lathe to make sure the drill runs straight)
you don't want to drill the hole cocked. good luck.......
