Sweep/Idiot Light to Round Gauge Conversion

Im doing this swap today and the chart in the FAQ section is helpful, but I have 2 grey wires left over. I tried each of them where they are supposed to go and I still don't get my gauge lights to work.

Any ideas???

Nevermind--replaced what looked to be a good fuse and they worked.
