TH350 rolls in gear when off ?

Can anyone explain this. When the car is in park and the engine is off, the car will not roll (as expected). But, when the engine is off and the car is put into gear (B&M shifter) the car still rolls. Not sure if this is normal. Maybe it is. Never really thought about it. Let me know your input. thanks.

It's normal. If the engine isn't running, the pump in the transmission isn't making any fluid pressure, so the low clutch pack can't engage. The whole trans acts like it's in neutral. Park is engaged mechanically, so it works fine regardless.
