Okay so i have a 79 malibu with the stock 14x7 rally's, what is the widest tire i can fit on the back but yet have the wall height make the car look good? i don't know what the backspace is on these rims, but im sure someone knows it. They are the original rims. I heard that a 235 is the safest wide tire to put on the 7 inch rim, but will the wide tire clear the shock and eveything inside the rim? need help soon, would appreciate an answer by tuesday so i can go out and look for a pair.

okay if i do a 245, what would be a good wall height combo for that? Everything is all stock no modifications. Maybe 60's? 55?
245/60/14 cooper cobras are very nice all around tire bout 100 each

yeah but i like the size of the stock fronts i just want the back to be wider, give it more of a street car look.
