Weather stipping and body parts questions.

I need to change my door weather stripping on my 78 Bu. Ive gone on ebay to find the stripping and its 170.00 to 190.00 for the kit. Is there a cheaper place to get it or is that as cheap as Im going to get?

Ok 2nd question. The panel just below the rear window and above the trunk. Mine is rusted thru, and malibus are hard to find in salvage yard around here. Are there any other G-bodies that will have the same panel, or does it have to come off a malibu?

Not sure about the weather stripping...but I think you're going to have to use the rear panel from a malibu..I believe that's all that will fit.

I happen to have a decent one here...it's from a Landau so it has the pins for the chrome trim but they would come off with a grinder pretty quick.
