What mounts to run on an lsx conversion..?

I had to shim the passenger side up too...the pan has a buldge on the bottom and was close to the crossmember

pulleys cleared fine, I just tack welded the pads to the frame...so I didnt care where the holes matched up, I think one side a few holes lined up, but one side didnt.

Ok, thanks. Did you get a set with slots in it allowing you to move the engine forward/back slightly? The ones I'm looking at have them, and I'm wondering if I can get away with doing that and not welding.

yes, slotted..there are plenty of holes on the frame, you may get lucky.

Depending on how radical your setup is you can use a mid-plate and LS1 motor plate,I got mine from SWRacecars.com,and Competition Engineering carries them also.

spoohn makes a g-body conversion engine mount.. it is simmilar to the john b mounts, mounts to the frame and uses LS1 clamshells.. price is somthing like 65 bucks for a pair.. i bought mine from SC&C..
