I'm using 245/50/16's on IROC's all the way around on my car, no rubbing in the rear, front rubs on full lock thats it. BUT I dont have the 1le on the front yet, just stock brakes and a-arms. The tubular uppers with the caprice spindles and 1le rotors moves the front wheels out 3/8" from what I've been told. Right now i'm running four front rims, but will need to find to rear rims to put on the front once I do my 1le conversion. I also have the xh box to put in and once in that has the correct internal stops to stop the rubbing.

i have 225/50 front and 255/50 rear BFGoodrichs. I really like these tires, much better than the Kuhmos I had in the same sizes. The only bummer is the rear tires are a little too small for me, but the next step up from there is a 295 or something, and those would be too big. They make 265/50, but are hard to find. All I have is stock rear w/ fender lip cut off.

Streetbu, if I understand you correctly if you have the 1LE swap and run an XH box there shouldn't be any problems running 245/50's? That's what I have in place and want to be sure before I order my new tires.

appsk8r, How do you like those BFG's, I've read they make a lot of road noise, do they? I'm trying to decide between Falken's or BFG's and didn't like the high road noise comments, but I love BFG's. How many miles you got on them. BTW the car looks great/.

I am currently running 245's without those mods, Have most of the parts, just havent put them on yet. Excpet for the tires/rim, they have been on for several years and work great!

These tires are pretty quiet to me, and if they do make noise I can't hear it over the wind noise from the malibu. They are the BFG g-Force Sport. I love these tires, great cornering, decent traction (considering I can bust them loose whenever I want anyway), they look good and wear nicely so far. Ive put about 3-4,000 on them and they still look brand new. Oh, and I have yet to light them up so that helps.
