wheel and tires with ford 9"

I got a 79 Malibu and it has a ford 9" under it i just bought new wheels for her with 4.5" backspacing i need to get all the tire in there as i can i want to run a 275/60/R15 with it does anybody know if that will fit or have any other suggestions for me the car is for the street also so I'm probably going to be going with street radials but possibly slicks don't know yet

Your frame notched?? I got 9" in my malibu with 4" backspace wheels and run 275 60 drag radials with no issues.

no thinking about it but haven't yet i have 4.5 inch backspacing so i hope they will fit i have 355/70/R15s on it right now with plenty of room so we will see
