Will a 95 Caprice rear fit G-body

95 Caprice parts car has a complete disc brake rearend, would like to know if it will fit into my 79 BU. I would guess that I would need new uppers/new rims(back spacing) and shorten the drive shaft. Any other concerns about the swap that I should know of? They have 28/30 spline axles right? Don't know what gear it has or if it has posi but if it was cheap enough, the swap from a 7.5 to an 8.5 w/disc would be worth it(if it is not a HUGH pain the the rear)no pun intended :lol:

Bein' a B-Body guy myself, you need to know that the Police car (9c1) and Civilian/SS rear ends (B4U, WX3, ETC) are different widths. The SS differential is wider, and is identified by LL stamping on the axle tube, if I recall correctly. Don't hold me to this though.
