windshield trip clips

I've got my elky completely finished finally, I purchased some metal trim clips from OPGI.com. bad choice, the trim keeps popping back out. Even had my body Guy try it, same issue. Anyone had good luck with a different companies clips??????? Need some help, starting to get pissed at the car LOL

I just bought a whole box of the plastic clips from my paint shop they look exactly like the ones on there. 12 bucks for a box of 50.

those metal clips look like they will work but they are for fords
