Shutting down MalibuRacing

Post by MalibuRacing » Tue Jul 16, 2019 1:56 pm

The MalibuRacing.com site will be shutting down at the end of the current quarterly billing cycle, which is the end of September. I hate to do it, but I just don't have the time or interest in continuing MalibuRacing.com. I would be willing to turn over data/information to anyone willing to take it on. I hate to see all the information go to waste.

Just wanted to give everyone (the few left) a heads-up before I shut it down. If you have any questions or want to talk to me about taking over the site, contact me at phillip@maliburacing.com. Don't send a PM, because I don't check the site daily.

Best Wishes,
Phillip Patterson - MalibuRacing Founder

This has always been my favorite forum.

I am truly sad to see it go.

Best of luck and thank you for the many years of knowledge, fun and friendships!

Oh, boy. I will also be sad to see it go away, but I completely understand. Unfortunately, I don't posess the knowledge to take things over, or I would.

First and foremost, my thanks to Phillip for all the great work he's done over the years. Secondly, thanks to everyone else that has given time, money and other intangibles to make it the great place it was.

I will miss you all!

WOW! Sad to see this happen. This is by far the friendliest, most willing to share info of any car forum on the web (IMO). No snobbiness, wise-assed remarks that are all too common on other sites. This has been my go to site for answers. Thank you .

MR is dead! Long live MR!

Hey this is Chris aka GP403, aka your new MR admin. I'm going to close this thread and open a new one now that the site's been transferred and looks like its running. I think. Heck I dunno I just kind of plunked stuff down here and just got it updated, still combing thru to see what I need to do.... Stand by.
