Front coilover or front stock style spring/shock?

I'd like to see the weight savings compared to the cost of the job? I think it comes to a point where the last few pounds you wind up saving get kinda pricey. Not to be hijacking this thread, { I find this interesting} What is the weight savings of switching to a aftermarket brake system like aerospace or strange engineering, and how much better does a car stop?
