How to use cruise control to work torque converter?

Post by 78elk » Tue Jan 14, 2020 10:43 pm

I want to get rid of the toggle switch I use to control torque converter. How can I hook the torque converter up to the cruise control. Does anyone know how to get it done?

some people use a b&m torque converter lockup control but they're on the pricey side.what about using the brake light switch to lock/unlock it all?

Thanks. I'm not sure how to go about it. This torque converter makes the car lug down when the toggle switch is on, when under 30 mph. I thought of using a transmission pressure switch, but I forgot what model of Cadillac this 2004r transmission came out of.

i had to switch to the toggle from the brake light switch because of the stall speed too.i turn it on getting on the highway and shut it off under sixty on the off ramps.my buddy wire in a rpm window switch in his mustang for the nos.says he could do the same with my lock up.

Thank you. That's real interesting. I'll do some research on this also.
