The only thing keeping me from a 6L80 or 90 is price (and figuring out how to run it behind something besides a newer LS).

Have someone rev it and see if you can hear where it's coming from under the car. I agree exhaust leak isn't out of the question.

I've considered a 4L80 for my truck too, but I think a 700R4 would be just right if the 1-2 ratio wasn't quite as big of a drop. Someone sells a 2nd gear planetary (I think that's what it is?) that provides a smaller rpm drop, a better middle ground between 1st and 3rd.

I once again wished I had mine out here because there are a lot of people in their newer expensive cars that the Fiero just doesn't compare to. If I was in the Malibu they would have another thing comin'!

What about the hardtofind euro lenses? Did they just use the same harness?

Is the cap loose? If so you could try some electrical tape around it to take up the gap, worked like a charm for me and some American Racing caps I had. Wouldn't hurt to check the lug nut torque either ;)

Haven't read about the TCI, but I've looked a little into the 6L80E for my truck, the 4L60 is on borrowed time and after semi regularly driving a '13 Taurus (g/f's mom's) I would love to have one of my own.

Yeah width is fairly important over 7", up to 9.5" will fit the rear no problem with a fender roll/trim, front will handle up to 9", 4.875" absolute max without rubbing on the control arm, not too sure if it would hit the sway bar though.

I didn't know tilt/non tilt were different either... I think the cornering lamps option is with separate turn signal bulbs in the rear.

That does look nice, but I think 20s are just a little too big for my tastes on a G-Body, 18s would be a little more fitting (more sidewall), plus I think it would have to ride higher for the front to clear when turning.
