If it has dummy lights where the volt/temp/oil gauges would be, then no. You need a different cluster housing and printed circuit board. There are also some changes in the harness plug you need to make.

I would vote a turbo cam for your power range, research the turbo to make sure you're in the best efficiency range, 4L80 for sure (durability). My thought is why not go for a T-Type/GN style intercooler setup?

They're gear reduction, cost a little more than regular SBC starters but will likely last longer in the grand scheme of things.

You should be able to run up to about 4 7/8" backspacing up front, that's what I tried with my 17x9.5", but they stuck out a little past the fender (my car is also lowered) :x I think 17x8s would quite possibly fit, could probably run 255/45s, and they'll be almost 1/2" taller than 275/40s. A...
