thanks guys. we ended up using one we got from our fellow racing buddy. it is an 8"race converter with about 4500 stall. works very nice.

we have ran one in the right rear for a couple years with about 12-14 lbs. seems to help the car launch straight if nothing else.

we are thinking about switching the converter in my car since we have to pull the motor out anyway (bad head gasket or cracked head). i was just wondering what some other guys were running and how you like them. thanks.

POR 15 is great stuff-as long as you use it the correct way. they have certain steps they recommend to make it work correctly and last a long time.

i always thought that the only way to really "save" power was to not have a belt. i really dont think you would gain much plus (said before) wont have to charge the battery as much. just my two cents worth.

i would go with quart just to be safe. better to have too much than not enough i say.
