The ONLY way I would feel safe doing so is if the axles had a MINIMUM of 1/2" diameter, 3" long studs, or best bet the 11/16" drive studs like used in full race drag axles. No way would I try it with stock length 7/16" wheel studs.
Ok, this car is pretty much stock as far as the frame & wheel lip. It has a Monte ss rear end. I have a p25560r15 street tire now but ordered the same size in the ET Street and according to the chart its 0.7"wider in the sidewall width. Its going to be close to the frame...
