14"-15" tire question

Is there any difference the way my car would perfom going to 14"rims and slicks as compared to 15" rims and slicks, as long as the height of the slicks are the same? Wouldn't the 14" slicks just have a wider sidewall than the 15" slicks? like a 26x9.5-15 hoosier should be the same height as a 26x9.5-14

You are correct on the sidewall, but I don't have any racing experience to tell you about performance. They would expand slightly more at speed because of more available rubber, but I don't know much else on the matter.

With more sidewall flex wouldn't the 14" be a bit more squirrelly?
