Before i went into the hospital, all my research led me to believe 3.5 was the ideal b/s for a stock frame and fender Malibu. I recently posted about possibly purchasing a set of Greg Weld wheels but I've found a better deal on a set of wheels.. it consists of 2 15x8 3.5 b/s the front wheels are 15x3.5 with 1 3/4" b/s. Are these the correct size wheels? If so, what is the largest tire that will fit a stock frame and fender lip 1980 2 door? Is 1.75 the correct b/s for a 15x3.5 on a Malibu?

I have used a 255/60 on mine but when I went to a 28x9 slick I had to trim My 1/4 panel lip. That is with a 8" wheel with 3.5" BS and a stock width rear. The front wheels should be fine.
