Right now I'm at the stock ride height and I do plan on lowering but no more than 2". Would 16x7" rims with 4" backspacing and 225/50/R16 rubber fit on all four corners?

Thanks in advance!

i have 16x7 in the front w/ 4.25 bs and 225/55 tires and they fit perfectly. so a little less backspace should work too. as for the backs, most likely but imo those tires are waaay too small for the back.

Small as in narrow or small as in short? The reason I'd like to use the same width in the front and back is because these will eventually only be used for winter rims. If I can keep them the same size it will allow for more rotating options.

o i c.

well since i like the big rear tire look, the 225/50s would just be too short for the back. i have 255/50 on an 8 inch wheel in the rear and i still think they are too small

Yup, they fit and I'm pleased. They could be bigger, but I'm happy to live without any clearance issues at all. They will work great for a temporary summer rim and they'll be perfect for a dedicated winter rim once I get my AR Salt Flats.

They do look small unless the car is lowered considerably. I used to have that on the back of my wagon.

The plan is ~2" front and back and eventually AR Salt Flats 17x8 in the front and 17x9.5 in the back.

Thanks. Yeah, it's a daily driver and I think it'll stay that way. I haven't done the motor swap yet, but it will eventually get the mild 5.7L that's in my truck right now.
