Has anyone done this yet?
Was the frame notch required?

I just got a set of ZR1 rims(17x 9.5 and 17x 11 ), and i think that they would look good on the car but a 315/35-17 is 1.5 " of more cross sectional width over the 275/60-15's i have now (and the 275's are tight.).

Also does any one know of a place that does custom wheel adaptors as i haven't picked the rims up yet but they will need a 2.6- 3.18 inch adaptor just to get in the ball park. (stock bs is 7.34 or 7.93 depending on the year)

My car is going to look so poser with these rims and stock brakes.

I like the look of those. I bought a set of grey ZR1 style wheels, 17x9 50 mm offset. They will probably just fit the back with a 2 inch adaptor. John Bzdel has put the 315 on the back, but with a custom offset wheel.

The custom adaptors can be made here:

Thanks guys for the help,

i used the wheel well measurments from this board and to get the 315's in there i'm going to need to notch the frame at least 1.5" and as for the spacers it turns out that i need 1.125" one. So all and all it doesn't look so bad.
