so im going to be dropping my tank and removing my sender to send it back. and buying another from a diffrent supplier thanks again for your help ill let u no how it turns out on the snding unit swap

and to check the ohms on the sender do i put one to ground and one on the positive prong on the sender and lift the lever to get the readings thanks.
LS6 Tommy, thanks again for all your help it would have takein me awhile to figure this out on my owns especially already havin purchased a new sender. u got it right on the nose it was the sender swapped it out for a new one from autozone and fixed the problem i guess thats what i get for getting the cheaper one from ebay. autozone orded it this morning and it got there at 5 thanks again after i swap my fram she will be on the road
