need some help on finding the gear ratio for the iraqi taxis. cant find any info on the rear diffs. i know they are taller gears then a 2.73. does anyone have any info on the rear diffs?
1981 Malibu iraqi taxi gear ratio?

2.29 or 2.41 were the other 2 ratios. The 3-speed I pulled out of a junkyard Malibu was calibrated for 2.73.
They were all built with 2.73 rear end ratios. The transmissions were 3.5:1 1st gear, 1.89:1 2nd and obviously 1:1 3rd gear.
I own a really nice Taxi, with only 20,000 miles on it.

Didnt they only get a shaker 200? Im surprised they didnt stick more gear in there to help with all that HP
I had a iraqi taxi, all i have left of the car is the rear diff. It's covered in snow in my back yard so i cant get to it to count teeth. When i had the car i got it up to 225kmh and was still accelerating
