3 1/2 steel or 4" alum driveshaft?

1. The post on this board was saying that a stock 3" would only hold 400hp.
2. I am not the most powerful car but you start getting into the 11's and I don't think the stock stuff was built for that.
3. Just to be safe and peace of mind.

But that being said: It sounds way cooler to say I have a 3 1/2" driveshaft. Haven't you heard, Size DOES matter! :lol:

My stock one was alot smaller than 3 inch. I had my 3 inch built by a reputable drive line shop. Technically nothing stock on your car was "built for 11s", I'm just sayin.

Isn't the stock one 3"? I thought it was,that is why I said upgrade to an 3 1/2". If a 3" is an upgrade to the stock one then a 3" is what I meant.

Sorry for the confusion. Sometimes not knowing confuses the ones that do. :)
