i have a 4l80e but dont have a dipsick. i have one out of the 4l60e, does any one know if it the same or if one out of out of another trany will inter change.

The 4L60E/4L65E tube wont work. Look here & you can see the 4L80E has the intrance hole farther towards the rear. http://www.tciauto.com/Products/Components/filler_tubes-mounts.asp
yes i was looking at the lokar but didnt want to spend that much on a dipstick. i got a hold of the guy i got the transmission from and he still has the dipstick for it. just got my transgo manual valve body kit in today and ready to install it. cant wait to drive this monster.
