i just got thru fitting a set of headman 2" 70-81 camaro headers for one of my street regals. these headers cost 214.00 at my local speed shop vs almost 500.00 for the direct fit hooker super comps.

here is a list of things i had to do to get them to work
1. i had to tap the firewall seam down on the passanger side
2. trim the back of each lower control arm mount
3. i used moroso solid mounts and had to move the motor back 1"

i did not ding or have to do anything else to the headers to make them fit. i will surely never buy anything else if i put another mild big block in a g-body

if anyone wants i can get pics of the headers in the car
