I only know what I wrote. I wish a reference existed of driveshaft lengths vs. applications, but I have never found one.

Bottom line...you need 49.5 inches of driveshaft, as measured between centerlines of the front and rear ujoint caps.

X2.............I recently did this sawp and that's what you need from center of U-Joint to center of U-Joint. BTW, Your gonna love the o/d

A 1981 F body driveshaft from a Buick V6 car is the right length (49.5).

I am told that the first gen firebird driveshaft is the right length.
