the caprice wheelbase is 7.3 inches longer, 3.5 inches wider and I seriously doubt that any of the body mounts would be even close to the right position

so no it will not fit, you would be better off building a new one from scratch if there is no way to find a frame from a Malibu, Monte carlo, Grand Prix, Cutlass, Regal

the g-body station wagons have a unique frame

the elcamino has a unique frame

the 2 and 4 door g-bodies from 78-88 are the same except some of the frames starting in 81 have longer sections where the bumpers mount....they can be converted fairly easy with a welder and some measurments

I'm guessing you are not from the US, I would imagine that a frame is probably harder to find than here. Why don't you tell us why you are wanting to replace your frame and maybe we can help with other ideas.

Matt, you are right,am jorge from chile, the thing its a do race my 80 bu as a road course car,and i want to stiff the frame, and i want to buy another frame to start it,because if i cannot finish the frame before the next race i got the car ready to go.
The station wagon its a unique frame? whts the difference? ,longer ,if so i can cut it,and the body mounts i will not use ,i will weld it instead.other guy got a 80 g-body frame but its to expensive.
regards

the front section of the wagon frame should be the same, it's from the rear axle hump to the rear bumper that is different. It's longer and wider behind the axle than the 2/4 door (as far as I remember). The body mounts from the rear axle forward (should) be the same.

good luck
