87 cutlass supreme bbc headers

I bought a set of 2455 hooker headers off of ebay and I can't get them to fit is there any specific grinding I have to do to fit them in my car or won't they fit

Those are for pre-80's A&F bodies, but I know some guys here have used them, so they would know better than I do.

Yea a few members on here said they would fit hopefully they will chime in thanx tho

I have those headers on my el camino. they fit but they just need trimming on the passenger side control arm.
driver side header goes in from the bottom. no trimming necessary on that side. Iirc

search the forum for info there's lots of threads with pictures too

it seems like the flanges are hitting my head bolts

probly have to trim the flange where it hits the head bolts. I had this problem when I first swapped in a the big block on my other malibu. Put aluminum heads on it and went with ARPs, no more hitting the head bolts.

Hitting headbolts with the flanges is a common problem. Grind the flange down and put them in. You would think this would be fixed by now, but it isn't.

they still hit my control arm bracket and i have shaved a lot off
