Im looking at a set of 17 in american racing torque thrush wheels with a 5x120.65 bolt pattern, the rim is 17x9 with a 45mm offset. Will these wheels fit with a 275/45/17 in the rear and a 255/40/17 in the front with no rub? I have factory suspension as well. does anyone have any pictures of these wheels mounted? thanks, kyle

You're gonna find there are no 275/45-17 tires on the market & those wheels you listed have 6.8" of back spacing. They'll never fit without rubbing the inside of the wheel wells (they probably won't even go on).

yeah, after actually looking into tires i realized that, rookie mistake ! how about a set of 17x8 crager ss wheels with a 4.5" back spacing? I found a good deal on a set of 4.... these should fit right? i was going to run 235/40/17 in the front and 255/45/17 in the rear on factory suspension?
Year One spec's out the 4. 25" BS N90s (like I got) for all 4 corners on a stock suspension G-body. On the back IDK if an extra .25" is an issue or not, but you can use a .25" spacer. I think 4.5" is still too much in the front for stock suspension, but again, you can get a .25" spacer & end up with 4.25" BS.

Tommy..I've read many of your posts before and I know you have a pretty extensive knowledge of just about everything. I was looking at wheels earlier today, I want to run 15x10 Pontiac Rally II's..But I have only seen them with 5" of back spacing. Do you think these would fit without rubbing or sticking out past the fender...not sure what size tire yet, 275/60 seems to be a very popular size.
