GET IT AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE. YOU'RE DEFINITELY GOING TO HAVE TO FIX THAT LIP BY BUMPING UP SPOTS. ..AS WELL AS, BRING COUPLE AREAS OUT. ONCE YOU GOT IT CLOSE AS YOU CAN GET IT, TAKE IT DOWN TO BARE METAL, ETCH THE AREA, WELD HOLES. DO NOT FILL EM' UP WITH FILLER! !! GRIND AND DRESS YOUR WELDS, THIN COAT OF DURAGLASS, SAND, REGULAR FILLER, SAND. NOW TO BRING BACK THE JACKED UP LINES TO NORMAL....WHEN BEFORE SANDING FILLER, I WOULD RUN A PIECE OF TAPE TO REPRESENT THE LINE. SAND ONLY UP TO THAT EDGE. WHEN IT'S NICE NICE, PUT THE TAPE ON THE OTHER SIDE....THEN SAND UP TO THAT LINE. YOU SHOULD GET YOUR LINES BACK PROPER....IF DONE RIGHT! WHEN YOU'RE ALL DONE FEATHER IT OUT, PRIME, SAND, WET SAND (OPTIONAL), SEAL AND PAINT.
*THERE IS MULTIPLE WAYS TACKLE THIS. I KINDA DUMB'D IT DOWN SO A BEGINNER CAN UNDERSTAND! AND BE SURE TO TREAT THE INNER WHEEL WELL. WHERE WORK IS PERFORMED!
