Is this a good in-line pump for a "stock" application? Noisy?

I've about given up on finding the in-tank sending unit/pump assembly at a reasonable price......

overkill...if there is such a thing. That pump is good to 600 hp. Im using this for now, holds the factory psi fine. Couldnt beat the price.

Another thing you have to look at is what fuel rail and pressure regulator you have, is it on the intake or was the motor from a vehicle that had the fuel-regulator-return all in the tank pod, then youll need an external regulator or a corvette fuel fiter could be used ( has 3 lines, return is built in the filter)

The pump that came with my DFI kit looks exactly the same, but not sure its the same P/N. Maybe a GSL391? It is very quiet. Lets just say its considerably more quiet than the pump in my '98 Z71.

I think I've located a sending unit/in-tank pump assembly. I'd rather go that route if possible, but was having problems locating one.

use the pump 540 used and just get a tank from a 4.3 monte or othe rg body with an efi sender. the whole thing will bolt in and be good to go.

One of the members here is selling me a 4.3 Monte pump hanger. So, I'm going to go in-tank setup. The Edelbrock setup may be overkill for a stock 4.8L. I'm thinking about getting the pump that comes out of the truck I'm getting the motor/trans out of. Or, maybe just a parts store replacement.

I'm new to this EFI stuff, I'm still learning/researching.
