I had a stereo sys installed in my car and the AM side sounds like a gieger counter on steriods stuck in a pile of uranium. I run a aftermarket accel HEI distributor with the high output coil in the cap. The FM side is fine. Is there any way to put a RF filter or some kind of trap or choke in the circuit to stop this? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. Harold

What kind of spark plug wires are you using? Solid wires will cause a lot of AM radio noise.

I frequently listen to the Trading Post hoping to find somebody selling vintage saloon doors-what of it? Bwaa-haa-haa!

A highway I often drive has normal traffic delays. Traffic info is on a low power AM station along the length of the highway. It's good to know and avoid trying to merge onto a 2-lane parking lot. If not for that, I would never even care if my radio had AM. :)
But, my Malibu doesn't have a radio. Just the duals a singin'. :)
