backspacing with 10in wheel?

i have a set of 15x10s with 7.5 backspacing that i had on my 98 trans am that i want to use on my 78 malibu. is there anything that will work with that? with a 68-72 12 bolt work? id really like to use a 12 bolt. the fronts are 15x3.5 with a 2.25 backspacing. will they work? any help is appreciated. i know trying them would be the best bet, but the 2 cars are in diffrent states currently. thanks in advance!

u will need a full frame notch and minitub to run a 10" wheel but 7.5 backspace will not work u will need a 6.5 or 5.5 backspace and front rims for these cars are 1 3/4 backspace good luck
