It's so it will clear the stroker cranks. I've had some Hamburgers pans in the past I hope yours doesn't leak like the ones I have had.

I'm guessing your right. But doesn't explain the pictures. I may just sell this one and buy another, I don't want any leaks.

It may be pics that got mixed up. If money is no object have Steff's build you a pan. I did a BBC build last year with a 4.250 stroke and used a Stock GM 70 Chevelle pan.

Money is getting tight on this thing. I may just use my gasket as a pattern and drill my own holes.

I had problems with the pans leaking around the front. I had to beat on both of the ones I had with a hammer to get them to seal.
