Best paint for the differential cover.

In my experience, the glossier paints last longer than flatter paints, likely due to the increased surface area of the flatter paints attracting dirt and corrosives from the road.

Thank you. That's a good point. For now I am just using what I have on hand. I may have to take it off and do it again. It's part of my education with cars.

I was able to get the cover on the differential today. I need to get the oil in the differential. I won't be able to drive it for a while due to snow.
