Dying seatbelts is not recommended due to the chemicals reducing the strength of the belts.

X2 I was going to say something like that but didnt want to confuse anyone

not to say anything about weakening them, or safety issues, but I've discovered mine refuses to be dyed! wanted to go from the maroon to black, using SEM dye, they look good for about 15 mins, then the color seem to evaporate back to the maroon...went thru 4 cans of dye before giving up! lol
