I had 3 broken bolts on mine I just soaked them down with PB Blaster a few times used a visegrip and they came right out.

I just got through making a new cage for a bad one on my car. I'll post up some pics today after work.

I cut the big hole in the first pic so I could then take the nut/cage assembly out. I ground on the floor piece I cut so I could save the cage to sandblast and reuse. I made a new nut plate out on 1/4 plate and a metric nut welded to in with a big chamfer on the one side so it was somewhat factory like. I don't think I have any pics of the nutplate I made. I think I re-used the one side but the side I made they cross-threaded the bolt in from the factory. To get the busted bolt out just heat it up untill it is red and it will usually come right out. Pb blaster helps also.
