Can anyone tell me what size the stock 2005ish truck computer is? I am also wondering if anyone knows if it will fit behind the passenger side kick panel from a computerized g body?

I've looked at the computer, and should it fit, yes, but I haven't actually tried it. I've got a 2003 truck computer, but the cars put away for the winter, in the spring if you remind me, I'll try it then 
I put the computer from a camaro in my wagon. Had to do some chopping, cutting, and gluing, but it does fit. This isnt the final product, but I'm tryin to figure out my next move.
So it fits...kinda? I can work with that, which way are your connectors....up or to the front of the car?
There is a bulkhead below the HVAC box where the factory wiring passes through. You may be able to go that route, but the hole may have to be opened up to fit all the wiring for an LS engine through.

I always assumed the LT and LS computers were in the engine bay for better cooling. If so, wouldn't it be a problem putting it behind the kick panel where it may get too hot?
I disagree. On V8 TB's it's mounted 2 inches from the d/s manifold. I think it's mounted in the engine bay just to save the company some money on the wires and wire protectors and grommets
