Where did you guys put your computers? Anyone put it inside? I would prefer to have it inside if possible to keep it as clean as I can under the hood.(eventually)

Right now, mine currently sits right beside the evap canister/vaccum ball, though teh vaccum ball no longer exists. Since I move the heater around, I'm going to run the wires a bit longer, which means getting alot of color coated wiring, saudering, ect and I'm going to hide the whole thing in the passenger side kick panel. If you don't want to do this, I believe that it will all fit right behind teh radio area with a little fabrication or...hell I don't know? There are alot of places to put it, passeengers side floor board where it bends up? but if somebody steps on it...

I like the kick panel idea, it just seems way too large to fit wothout major fabbing.

Nah, mine is actually smaller than my ol computer was in the monte, the only thing thats large is that bundle, but run it through the wall, and then use a rubber gromet to seal it all and you should be good.

Craig, did you have to make any of the wires longer to make it fit under there? Also where about did you drill a hole in the firewall to get the wires thru?
Thanks David

How did you secure it? I like that a lot better than what I have preliminarily rigged up. Do you have the trim panel covering the computer?

Basically where you see the wires disappear in that first pic is where I drilled the hole. I didnt have to extend any of the wires either. Jesse at Wait4meperformance did the harness.

Heres a pic showing the only thing holding it in for now. It works surprisingly well. I just took some small angle aluminum and bolted to the ECM using the two cover screws and then bolted a strap to it up to an existing hold in the A/C duct work. The back of it is just held up by the carpet really. It stays put better than you'd think.

No kick panel covering it up. You'd hardly know it was there unless I pointed it out.

That looks damned good, just had to put it out there, someday when I start cleaning things up I'd like to hide mine, but my heater takes up all that space, so I'll have to find soemthing like that somewhere else :(
