I used those on my malibu with the stock lower control arms but i boxed them in and installed solid bushings. my 60ft time went down 1 tenth with the control arm in the lowest setting and my car actually started picking up the front tires a couple inches.

Take a look at this video, its not a G-Body but the same premise as far as relocation of the lower stock mounting points with BMR relocation brackets and the addition of our billet lower control arms. Took the stock 60ft 2.20s and on the first pass put the car in the 1.85 60ft

what are the advantages of tubular control arms over boxed control arms?

tube arms are usually adjustable where as a stock boxed arm is not, and the tube is usually stronger seeing as you can get them in 4130 istead of stamped sheetmetal

He is correct! With the boxed you get a aftermarket stock location control arm and with the adjustable control arms you can fine tune the rear if need be. Is the car a daily driver and how much track time does it see.... That there depends on what control arm you should go with.

Thanks Again! :)

i think what you need to get depends on how fast you plan to go. if 12's are all your looking for the boxed factory arms would be enough with good bushings. but if you trying to go any faster, personally i would fork out the money for a set of aftermarket arms. i would go with adjustable because people always want their cars to go faster and that would be one less set of control arms you would have to buy later on down the road... just my 2 cents.
