hey, i want to lower the front of my car about an inch and i currently have v6 a/c springs, will cutting a coil out reduce weight transfer alot? its an 81 elco so i need all the weight transfer i can get! lol the front is lightened a bit with glass hood, glass fenders, alum heads, tubular a arms. i was also wondering if it would be better to get a taller spring with less of a weight rate so theres more stored energy? but i dont have the weight of the front end. idk maybe ill cut them and if it doesnt work then ill get lowering ones. thanks guys

if you're concerned about weight transfer, i'd say just put trick springs in it. i was able to lower my front end a little more than 1.5" compared to how my car sat with 6 cyl springs in it.
