How do I insure that my motor/trans/driveshaft/rearend is inline when I install a front motor plate. What should I use as a refernce point.

I kinda hillbilly'd it and installed a bare block and bare glide in the car with my old solid mounts, then built the forward strut bars, braces, etc, to the motor plate I had bolted on the front of the engine. Once that was done, the side mounts went away, and voila!

kinda what I planned BUT the driver side frame mount is messed up so I am not sure it is square. I am wondering how do I make sure that the motor/trans/driveshaft/rearend is inline. By the way this is not for a G-body. Doing a Mopar but looking for advice from all sources.

FYI most mopar engines are offset to the passenger side a couple of inches, realized this when my dad and I manufactured a fan shrowd for his '68 roadrunner.

I mounted a block and trans in my car with factory mounts to get everything in line. Then I made the front plates fit before making measurements for the rear.
