Engine Leveler-Duralast

I just picked up a Duralast engine leveler off of Craigslist. The 4 ends dont reach to the ends of the heads on my big block. Are they designed to use the head bolt holes?

I believe they are designed to bolt to the head accessory bolt holes, on either end of the head. You may have to modify things a bit. Longer chains or some flat steel in order to extend the leveler mounting tabs.

I would throw that peice of sh*t in the trash! I bought one from autozone went to install a alum. headed small block chevy and the damn thing broke and droped my motor on to the ground cracking a head. other than that it should bolt up to the head, mine did. It might need longer chain.

Glad you told me that! I will do it the old school way like Ive been doing. The chains are way too short to reach the head acc. holes and it would take more time to cut the old chains and make new ones. Thanks guys!
