what kind of ignition do you have? fuel pressure? timing?

Also a higher stall converter will "eat up" hp, and you have to be prepared for this when doing a chassis dyno.

let me ask you this , is the distr locked out ? i put a new msd distr in my car . i locked it out and it broke up real bad , either buy a modjul or un lock it so i unlocked it and she pulls all the way to 8.000
