Running #8 AN stainless braided fuel line entire length of car from mallory electric fuel pump to aeromotive fuel pressure regulator by carb. Was told i should be running two #8 fuel lines from regulator to dual feed 750 holley running at 7 PSI. My question is, shouldn't i be running two #6 lines to carb? (volume affected?)

6's are fine. In fact most fuel system companies recommend them. I have 8's on mine, but I haven't seen any issue to them. Mine is also a 540.
