It was inevitable. I "borrowed" a 7.5" rear with mini-spool from a buddy to test my theory about a defective differential. On the first pass at the division 1 bracket finals the drivers side tire and wheel left the body to pursue a solo career thus ending my season in disgrace. He swore it had 28 spline axles in it but the autopsy proved otherwise. At least it happened right at the line instead of at the 2-3 shift.

I'm glad nothing major happened. BTW, I thought 7.5"s WERE defective rears... #-o

Yah you have to watch stuff like that ...Especially if you go to the track often they will will watch you close and if it happens too often - they will ask you nicely to leave and not come back. ...Depending on how fast your car is.

mini spool is a dirt track spool system...IT IS REALLY not MEANT FOR THE STREET OR DRAG RACE TRACK. Dirt does not have the grip that asphalt does and especially the well prepped drag track...so the mini spool will survive MUCH better there...lol.

At the very least running a mini spool on the street you should have aftermarket axles too. AND if your going to spend that much on axle you wight as well go all the way and do it correctly. Jim
